California’s Wildfires Continue to Rage

CALDOR, CALIFORNIA - AUGUST 23: An oven and washer-dryer unit remain recognizable in a destroyed home in Grizzly Flat, California, a small community with a population of 1256. On August 23, 2021, California's Caldor fire became the nation's top-priority wildfire. The growing blaze, which is only 11% contained, has ignited over 125,000 acres, destroyed an estimated 550 structures, and is moving quickly toward Lake Tahoe.
