Antique photograph of the Nativity (also known as the Adoration of the Shepherds or The Holy Night), a 16th century painting by the Italian painter Antonio da Correggio, currently in the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, Dresden (Germany), but originally in a chapel of the church of San Prospero of Reggio Emilia (Italy). At the light of a candle the scene features the Child, surrounded by Mary's arms and a group of shepherds on the left and on the right the presepe animals (donkey and ox) and St. Joseph.
