Bauhaus year 2019

19 March 2018, Magdeburg, Germany: A look at the horse gate. Six Pillars with stone horses on top, build the 15 meters tall Horse gate. The gate was built in 1927. It has been designed by the Darmstadt Professor Albinmüller. The gate is one of the objects that come on Magdeburg's list of the Bauhaus year 2019 celebration. In addition to the Bauhaus sites in Dessau, Halle and Magdeburg will present themselves as places of modernity for the Bauhaus centenary in 2019 with an extensive program. According to the State Chancellery, the state of Saxony-Anhalt has budgeted a total of around 18.5 million euros for the anniversary from 2017 to 2020.
