Boston Prepares To Commemorate Year Anniversary Of Marathon Bombing

In past years, many Boston College students would illegally run the Boston Marathon as "bandit runners," but due to expected increased security in this year's upcoming race, Boston College students organized their own unofficial Boston marathon one week before, running the exact same route as the real race. Two pressure cooker bombs killed three and injured an estimated 264 others during the Boston marathon last year on April 15, 2013.
