Wayland, MA: 1985 - "We started the Tiffany Club in 1977, to support and educate the gender community and serve the northeast region of the United States. By 1981, we started working on Tapestry, which is a magazine dedicated to tying together the various gender organizations around the world. Then we formed I.F.G.E., which is the International Foundation for Gender Education, and is intended to be a unifying factor. It sponsors Tapestry Publications, the community's publishing house, and holds annual national conventions that serve all our people (Transformations 1989)."
