Koala given vet check after being found in floodwater after Cyclone Alfred, Australia

Vets do health checks and clean a koala found in floodwater up to its neck after Cyclone Alfred on March 22, 2025 in Byron Bay, Australia. Hundreds of animals have been affected by the recent Cyclone that hit the East Coast of Australia and this particular Koala was found with a joey in its pouch and almost drowned in dirty floodwater near Byron Bay.
