Hatter - summer hats with strong UV protection

19 July 2023, Berlin: In her studio in the Günzelkiez in Wilmersdorf, milliner Petra Benz arranges Panama and summer hats, which offer additional UV protection thanks to a coating. In summer, she offers women's and men's hats with good sun protection. There is more and more demand for that. In the store, she has about 200 hats on hand - some 1920s style but "with modern charm" and many more. About 80 percent of the hats, including 1930s and 1950s styles, are homemade.
