Haitians sit on the Place St. Pierre, where around one thousand people have been living since the January 12 earthquake, in Port-au-Prince's Petion-ville suburb on January 20, 2010. A strong earthquake measuring 6.1 on the moment magnitude scale hit Port-au-Prince Wednesday, sending residents running to the streets eight days after the city was razed by a 7.0 quake. The quake struck 59 kilometers (36 miles) west of the capital Port-au-Prince, according to the US Geological Survey.
