House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul of Texas opens the first hearing of the Committee with newly installed Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, continuing and remarks that ever moratorium on travelers from certain countries comprises a pause to give the United States government time to check the immigration system against terrorism, arriving as a Trojan horse, noting that the nations were selected based on legislation produced by the Committee and added to by the Obama administration, concluding that the committee looks forward to reviewing plans of the Trump administration including at the southern border as Americans are eager to see results.
