PATEL CHAUK, CHITRAKOOT DHAM KARWI, UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA - 2015/07/15: Farmers belonging to the Bundelkhand Kisan(Farmers) union affiliated to Farmers union of India, resorted to one day picketing agitations in the seven Uttar Pradesh districts of BundelkhandBanda,Chitrakoot, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur and Mahoba against the District Administration State government and Government of India to stop corruption over relief funds issued to Farmers. In 2009, Uttar Pradesh received Rs.3,506 crore as part of a Rs.7,266 crore Bundelkhand package from the centre, but Bhaiya says the money benefited contractors, not farmers.
