Winston Churchill Accepting a Painting

London, England: Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill of Britain is shown as he accepted a portrait of himself as a birthday gift from members of the House of Lords and the House of Commons yesterday in a ceremony at Westminster Hall, on his 80th birthday. At right is Clement Attlee, leader of the opposition party who paid tribute to Churchill and made the presentation address, in the course of which he said, "We come not to bury Caesar but to praise him. . ." in his reference to the portrait Churchill said "This is a remarkable example of modern art."
