Confederate Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery, once the home of Robert E. Lee, the cemetery became a burial ground for Union troops during the Civil War. There is a Confederate memorial there too. The Confederate Memorial is located in Section 16 of Arlington National Cemetery. It's about a mile from the front gates, just west of the amphitheater and Tomb of the Unknowns. The memorial faces South. On the east side there is a depiction of a male slave amid a group of confederate soldiers. On the northeast side there is a depiction of a slave woman holding a baby being kissed by a Confederate officer. It's 32 feet tall and bronze so hard to miss.
