Costa Rican Soldiers March in Street

(Original Caption) 4/27/1948-San Jose, Costa Rica-With Costa Rica once again embroiled in civil war, the ragged Mariachis, rural area government troops, may be called up for duty for Costa Rica's second revolution of the year. These unhappy soldiers were on the losing end in last April's upheaval. They hope to do better this time. Provisional President Jose Figueres said, 12/12, that the invasion base was in Nicaragua. He intimated that this latest in a series of Latin-American revolts may have international implications.
