(Original Caption) Outfielder Bobby Thomson lies on the ground after suffering a triple fracture of his right ankle here on March 13th, while attempting to slide into second base in an exhibition game against the New York Yankees. The Milwaukee Braves player is expected to be in a cast for at least six weeks after which it will require another four or five weeks for Bobby to get back into playing condition. Said Braves' Manager Charley Grimm: "I'll be happy if Bobby is ready to play regularly by June 15th."
