AGRABAD, DHAKA, CHITTAGONG, BANGLADESH - 2017/07/26: Office worker returning home in Chittagong. Chittagong city is facing unprecedented flooding this year due to rising sea level, the release of water from the Kaptai Lake, and the suspension of the Karnaphuli River dredging. The World Bank (WB) has approved additional $47.50 million to help improve water, sanitation, and drainage infrastructure in Chittagong, with the aim of helping about 650,000 inhabitants of the country's prime port city gain access to safe and reliable water.
