Portrait of Prince Harald and Sonja Haraldsen

(Original Caption) Norwegian Prince to Wed Commoner. Oslo, Norway: Norwegian crown prince Harald and his fiancee, Sonja Haraldsen, hold hands during a picture session here. Miss Haraldsen is a commoner and the daughter of an Oslo storekeeper whom Prince Harald has known since 1959. Harald will be the first heir to a European throne to wed a commoner and constitutional experts question whether his bride will be able to reign as queen when Harald succeeds his father.
