William Cashore Congratulated by Ed Sullivan

Fourteen year old William Cashore (C) of Norristown, Pennsylvania, who won the 1954 National Spelling Contest, gets congratulated by television personality Ed Sullivan as Williard Widerberg (R), selected Teacher of the Year by the National Education Association looks on. The two winners were introduced by Sullivan to a coast to coast audience on his "Toast of the Town" program.
