The September 11 memorial lights light up the sky in New York City. This night time cityscape shows the Tribute in Light memorial to the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. The twin beams of blue light shine high above the offices and skyscrapers in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan and can be seen for miles around. This is one of a series of photos taken each year during the September 11 vigil.
