Iberian Wolf, Canis lupus signatus - Fotografía de stock

This sub-species of the Gray Wolf inhabits only the plains of northern Portugal & N.W. Spain. An extermination campaign in the 1950/60's wiped out all the wolves from Spain except for the N.W. of the country, and a similar campaign led to the extinction of wolves from Portugal. These photographs were taken at Lobo Park, Antequera, southern Spain.
