Trains Run Along The Newly Reinstated Bluebell Railway Line To East Grinstead For First Time In 55 Years
EAST GRINSTEAD, ENGLAND - MARCH 23: A fireman looks on as he steers his locomotive into East Grinstead station for the first time on March 23, 2013 in East Grinstead, England. The Bluebell Railway ran its first steam-train this weekend on the reclaimed line from Kingscote to East Grinstead after it was closed on the 17th March 1958. The closing of the line was part of the Beeching Cuts which caused the closure of hundreds of rural rail networks. Voluntary members of the Bluebell Society have worked ever since to reopen the line which has finally been realised. (Photo by Jordan Mansfield/Getty Images)
