A young girl carries a batton early on March 21, 2015, in the Spanish Navarre village of Alli during the "19th Korrika" a relay of hand to hand baton passing without interruption over 11 days and 10 nights crossing many Basque villages and cities, totalling some 2300 kilometres in a bid to promote the basque language. The event is organised every two years and many consider it an honour to carry the wooden baton with the symbol of the Basques buying kilometres to support Basque language teaching.
