The sculpture "The Young Saint John the Baptist" by Italian sculptor and painter, Michelangelo is displayed at the Prado National museum in Madrid on March 30, 2015. For three months, the Museo del Prado will be exhibiting "The Young Saint John the Baptist", the only sculpture by Michelangelo in Spain. The sculpture was practically destroyed at the outset of the Spanish Civil War and consisted of no more than fragments until its recent and complete restoration at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure e Laboratori di Restauro in Florence.
