Prince Harry Meets The Engelandvaarders 2011 Kayak Team Members At Sizewell Beach

Prince Harry met the families of four British men aiming to recreate an epic journey made by 32 young Dutchmen who escaped their Nazi-occupied homeland of the Netherlands during World War II. Only eight of the 1941 group known as The Engelandvaarders (The England Voyagers) survived the crossing. A memorial to those who those who lost their lives stands on Sizewell beach.
