GARDNER,COLORADO-October 8,2003-Mission Wolf <cq>is a refuge for hybrid wolves that are more wolf than dog so they cannot be pets. The non-profit sanctuary relies on donated meat to feed the animals. The wolves eat horse, dear, elk and cow, for example. When they feed dead horse meat to the wolves they trust that they are receiving donated horse meat from animals that have not died from West Nile virus.
