RAMALLAH, WEST BANK, RAMALLAH, WEST BANK, PALESTINE - 2015/10/02: Fatah party supporters rejoice in the return of the Palestinian Authority's President Mahmoud Abbas to Palestine. Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, also known as Abu Mazen, was greeted Friday evening by supporters of the ruling Fatah party in the West Bank city of Ramallah, after returning from his trip to New York City, where he spoke to the United Nations General Assembly during the United Nations 70th anniversary. President Abbas reiterated to the Palestinian crowd in Ramallah, what he had said in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly. He warned that if Israel continues its provocation in Eastern Jerusalem, in the Al Aqsa Mosque compound, that the Palestinian authority would be justified in annulling the Oslo Accords. The Oslo Accords are a set of agreements between the government of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, most of which center around security co-ordination between Palestinian security forces and Israeli soldiers, as well as a focal point of the Palestinian- Israeli peace process. Abbass speech came after weeks of intense violence and clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian worshipers at the Al Aqsa Mosque.
