An Arabic version of the Gospel sits in the Grotto of Our Lady of Mantara in the southern Lebanese town of Maghdouche East of Sidon, on May 29, 2016, during the launching of an event by the Ministry of Tourism to put the Grotto of Maghdouche on the international religious tourism map. Magdouche, along with Lourdes in France, Fatima in Portugal and Medugorje in Bosnia & Herzegovina are expected to be put on the international religious tourism map. According to local tradition the Virgin Mary accompanied Jesus during his journey to Tyre and to Sidon and waited for him in the grotto at Magdoucheh.
