Bronze Sculpture at the soldiers and sailors public monument in Cleveland. It was designed by architect Levi Scofield, who also created the monument's sculpture called: 'The End of the War' This conference led to the battle of Five Forks and the surrender of Lee's army at Appomattox, Virginia. The men shown are: George Crook, Ulysses S. Grant, John A. Rowling, Abraham Lincoln, Robert T. Lincoln, Mortimer Dormer Leggett, William Tecumseh Sherman, Governor Kemble Warren, George G. Meade, Edward Ord. The Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument is a monument to Civil War soldiers and sailors from Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Located in the southeast quadrant of Public Square in downtown Cleveland, it opened July 4, 1894
